Chelsea make Dries Mertens their no.1 transfer target

It is widely believed that Maurizio Sarri is on his way to London to become Chelsea's new manager. The Mirror has now reported that Sarri will look to instantly raid his former club Napoli to make his first signing at Stamford Bridge. Sarri wants to rope in Dries Mertens from the Partenopei.

Chelsea have long been linked with the Belgian forward but were unsure in the past to trigger his £24.5 million release clause. But the soon to be Chelsea boss rates Mertens highly and reportedly wants him to play on the right flank for the Blues - the position that he plays on for Belgium.

Mertens enjoyed his best ever personal campaign with Maurizio Sarri at Napoli where he scored 22 league goals. He is expected to be keen on reuniting with the 59-year-old, an aspect that Chelsea will look to utilize in his transfer negotiations.

West Ham United sign Lukasz Fabianski

The Hammers have completed the signing of Lukasz Fabianski from Swansea City. The Polish goalkeeper joins Manuel Pellegrini's side for a reported fee of £7 million. West Ham decided not to use the option of making Joe Hart's loan move permanent and instead decided to sign the former Arsenal custodian.

Fabianski told the club's official website, "West Ham is a massive club so I’m really happy to be joining at such an exciting time here. I will do my best on and off the pitch to help the team to achieve the best results possible and can’t wait to start this new chapter of my career."

Juventus name Miralem Pjanic price

FC Barcelona are serious about luring the Bosnian midfielder to the Camp Nou this summer. Juventus know about Barcelona's interest and are looking to receive as high a value for Pjanic as possible.

Tuttosport has reported that Juventus value Pjanic at €80 million and will not start negotiations for the player below that price. Barcelona are looking to include a player in a deal to lower the valuation.

Emre Can to undergo Juventus medical this week

The Daily Mail has revealed that Emre Can will undergo a Juventus medical later this week. A long drawn transfer saga will finally come to an end with the German midfielder set to sign a five year deal in Turin. Liverpool have already announced that Can will leave the club after failing to agree upon terms over an extension.

Corentin Tolisso dreaming of a move to Liverpool

Bayern Munich's Corentin Tolisso is reportedly dreaming of a move to Liverpool. Calcio Insider has revealed that Tolisso has intentions of playing in the Premier League and Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool is his preferred side.

Tolisso is Bayern Munich's most expensive signing of all time at €41.5 million. He made 40 appearances last season and had a hand in 17 goals.

Bernd Leno completes a move to Arsenal

Arsenal have announced the arrival of Bernd Leno from Bayer Leverkusen for a reported fee of €25 million. The German custodian becomes Unai Emery's second signing at the club. Leno joins the Gunners after seven campaigns with Leverkusen, making 230 appearances. The 26-year-old will replace Petr Cech as Arsenal's no.1 goalkeeper.

FC Barcelona to sign two midfielders before the start of preseason

Ernesto Valverde has demanded the club hierarchy to finish their transfer business quickly. According to Don Balon, he has specifically told the club to sign two midfielders before the team starts their preseason training on July 11.

The two names on Barcelona's radar are - Arthur Melo and Miralem Pjanic. The latter will cost €80 million from Juventus whereas the former is already a Barcelona player, albeit from January. The club wants to negotiate a deal with Gremio that will help the midfielder arrive in Spain six months earlier than expected.

Arsenal target Ever Banega

According to the Mirror, Arsenal are set to hold talks with Ever Banega's agent with a summer move in mind. Banega has been Sevilla's mainstay for the past couple of seasons but is now reportedly looking for a move to the Premier League.

Unai Emery is looking for midfield reinforcements and has supposedly already reached an agreement with Sampdoria's Lucas Torreira.

The French giants have secured the signature of Willem Geubbels - one of France's most sought-after talents. Monaco have signed the 16-year-old forward from Lyon for a whopping sum of €20 million. The teenager has also been impressive for the French youth sides.

After signing for the club, Geubbels said, "I am very happy to sign for AS Monaco. It is a historic club that plays in the Champions League and competes every year in Ligue 1."

Ahmed Musa in talks with Galatasaray

Ahmed Musa's agent William D’avila has revealed to Leicester Mercury that his client is in talks with Galatasaray and the striker is keen on a move to a Champions League club. Leicester signed Musa for £16 million two years ago but the Nigerian failed to live up to the expectations. He spent last season on loan at CSKA Moscow.
