Fernando Torres set for Chelsea exit?

Chelsea v Manchester United - Premier League

LONDON, ENGLAND – OCTOBER 28: Fernando Torres of Chelsea is shown the yellow card by referee Mark Clattenburg during the Barclays Premier League match between Chelsea and Manchester United at Stamford Bridge.

Fernando Torres could be all set to exit Chelsea in January, with the Daily Mail claiming that a potential benching against Juventus could force the striker to seek a move back to Spain.

The paper had earlier claimed that Roman Abramovich has accepted that his £50 million gamble on the Spaniard has failed, and is even ready to sanction his sale.

Now the paper adds that Torres is seeking a move back to Spain in order to regain the kind of form and prowess he displayed at Liverpool. It is even suggested that he could be swapped for Radamel Falcao of Atletico Madrid.

Torres could be dropped to the bench for Chelsea’s all important Champions League clash against Juventus, indicating the growing frustrations with the striker at the club.
