Though Real Madrid failed to claim the La Liga title the previous season, they were successful in winning their 11th Champions League title under manager Zinedine Zidane and that has had an impact on their official ratings in FIFA 17 by EA Sports.

The new edition of the most famous football game in the world, FIFA 17, is to be launched around the world soon. The new game pushes the boundaries further in football gaming and has several new features that make it even better than the previous edition.

Real Madrid ended the previous season on a strong note with key players in their top form. Here are the official FIFA 17 ratings for the Real Madrid players.


Philipp Lienhart (Overall 65):

Philipp Lienhart

The Austrian Centre-back is yet to make an appearance for Real Madrid and receives a rating of 65. Lienhart’s main attributes are physicality and defending for which he has been rated 68 and 64 respectively. The 20-year-old might can grow tremendously under manager Zinedine Zidane and will want to make his chances count if provided.

Nikos Vergos (Overall 65):

Vergos is on loan from Superleague Greece club, Olympiacos, and currently, plays for the reserve team for Real Madrid. The Greek striker has been rated an overall of 65 and receives 64 for shooting, 63 for physicality, and 60 for dribbling.

Aleix Febas, who plays for the youth team of Real Madrid, has been rated 67 in FIFA 17. The Spanish midfielder has been rated 69 for passing, 67 for dribbling, 66 for pace, and 60 for shooting.

Martin Odegaard (Overall 70):

The Norwegian wonder kid, aged just 17 years, has already made his professional debut for Real Madrid in the La Liga. Odegaard has been rated an overall of 70 and has received 79 for dribbling, 69 for pace, 64 for passing, and 51 for shooting.

Mariano (Overall 71):

The 23-year-old has made his debut for Real Madrid this year and has been rated an overall of 71. Mariano receives 77 for pace, 73 for shooting, 69 for physicality, 66 for dribbling, and 53 for passing.

Lucas Silva (Overall 74):

The 23-year-old defensive midfielder has played 8 matches for Real Madrid and is turning out to be one of the best young talents available in FIFA 17. Silva has been rated 76 for dribbling, 72 for defending, 72 for dribbling, 69 for passing, and 62 for shooting.

Nacho Fernandez (Overall 78):

The Spanish Centre-back has received an overall rating of 78 which is an improvement from his rating in FIFA 16 (Overall 75). Fernandez’s main attribute is his defending and has been rated 78 for it. The 26-year-old has been rated 75 for physicality, 73 for pace, and 63 for passing.

The 29-year-old Spanish Goalkeeper has represented Real Madrid 7 times since his arrival in 2015 and has been rated 79. Casilla’s main attributes are Handling, Positioning, and Kicking for which he has been rated 83, 82, and 80 respectively.

The former Inter Milan midfielder had switched to Real Madrid in 2015 and has received an improved rating of 79 in FIFA 17 (from 78 in FIFA 16). The Croatian player has been rated 85 for dribbling, 82 for passing, and 80 for pace.

Danilo was brought to Real Madrid in 2015 and has appeared 25 times for the Los Blancos. The Brazilian Right-back’s rating has been improved to 80 (from 78 in FIFA 16) and has been rated 80 for pace, 79 for physicality, 78 for defending, 75 for dribbling, and 72 for passing.

Fabio Coentrao (Overall 80):

The Portuguese Left-back receives a rating of 80 in FIFA 17 (same as in FIFA 16). Coentrao is good at dribbling and has been rated 79 for it, 78 for defending, 76 for pace, and 73 for passing.

Lucas Vazquez (Overall 81):

Vazquez has shown some great promise playing for Real Madrid and has scored 4 goals for them since 2015. The 25-year-old has been rated an overall of 81 in FIFA 17, which is a major improvement from 76 in FIFA 16.

Marco Asensio (Overall 81):

The 20-year-old attacking midfielder has been rated 81 in FIFA 17 (from 75 in FIFA 16), playing an important role for Espanyol in the previous season. Asensio has been rated 83 for passing, 82 for dribbling, 72 for pace, and 70 for shooting.

The Brazilian defensive midfielder has been rated 82 in FIFA 17 (from 77 in FIFA 16) after an impressive previous season for Real Madrid. The 24-year-old has been rated 84 for physicality, 80 for defending, 71 for passing, and 71 for dribbling.

Morata receives a slight improvement in his FIFA 17 rating (81 in FIFA 16). The Spanish striker has improved during his time in Juventus and will be a valuable option in the front for Real Madrid this season. Morata has been rated 83 for his pace, 79 for dribbling, and 79 for shooting.

The prominent Right-back for Real Madrid has been rated 83 in FIFA 17 with 82 for pace, 81 for defending, 79 for dribbling, and 78 for physicality. The Spanish player has been Real Madrid’s first choice over the years and will be expected to play a key role in this season.

The French Centre-back was impressive in the defense for Real Madrid in the previous season and has been rated 84 in FIFA 17. The 23-year-old player has been rated 85 for his defending abilities, 78 for physicality, 77 for pace, and 63 for dribbling.

The talented attacking midfielder has had limited chances coming across his way and has been 84 in FIFA 17 (same as in FIFA 16). The Spanish midfielder has been rated 86 for dribbling, 80 for passing, 75 for shooting, and 72 for pace.

Keylor Navas (Overall 85):

The Costa Rican has been Real Madrid’s No.1 Goalkeeper since Iker Casillas’s departure and receives a rating of 85. The 29-year-old player has been rated 87 for diving, 85 for reflexes, 82 for Handling, and 80 for positioning.

Marcelo: 86 Overall

The Brazilian left-back was one of the best players for the Los Blancos in the previous season and has received a boost in his official FIFA 17 rating (rated 83 overall in FIFA 16). Marcelo’s main attributes are dribbling and defending for which he has been rated 84 and 82 respectively.

A good passer and strong physically as well, the 28-year-old has been given 80 for passing and physicality.

James Rodriguez: 87 Overall

Columbia’s talisman, James Rodriguez has been struggling to keep his place in the starting line-up this season under manager Zinedine Zidane and receives an unimproved rating in FIFA 17 ( as he was rated 87 in FIFA 16 as well). The 25-year-old has been rated 85 for shooting, 85 for dribbling and 85 for passing. Rodriguez is yet to reach his full potential and could achieve that this season.

Karim Benzema: 87 Overall

Frenchman Karim Benzema is a force to reckon with and has received an appropriate rating in FIFA 17 (86 in FIFA 16). The 28-year-old striker has been rated 84 for shooting, 82 for dribbling, being a necessary link between wingers Ronaldo and Bale. Benzema also consists of decent pace and has been rated 81 for it.

Toni Kroos: 88 Overall

The German midfielder is a fantastic passer and a crucial member in the central midfield for the Los Blancos. Kroos has been rated 88 for his passing and looks to have reached his full potential (rated 86 in FIFA 16). The 26-year-old has the ability to shoot with power and has been rated 80 for shooting.

Pepe: 88 Overall

The Portuguese player is one of the best Center-backs available in FIFA 17 and has received a huge boost in his rating (84 in FIFA 16) after some exceptional performances in the UEFA Euro this year in France. The 33-year-old has been rated a massive 88 for his defending abilities and 81 for physicality as he has been a constant threat during set pieces.

Luka Modric: 89 Overall

One of the best midfielders of the current generation, Luka Modric has been rated an overall of 89 (87 in FIFA 16). The 30-year-old has received 89 for his supreme dribbling skills and 86 for his near-perfect passes in the midfield. Modric has been an integral member of Real Madrid and will certainly be expected to lift the Los Blancos to claim the La Liga title this season.

Sergio Ramos: 89 Overall

Captain of Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos has rightly received an improved rating of 89 ( from 87 in FIFA 16 ). Ramos has been rated 87 for defending, 83 for physicality and has had a solid partnership with Pepe in the heart of the Real Madrid defence. Ramos possesses good speed for a Center-back and receives 78 for pace.

Gareth Bale: 90 Overall

Gareth Bale was outstanding for Wales in the recent Euros and receives a bump in his official FIFA 17 rating (from 87 in FIFA 16). Bale receives 94 for his pace, 87 for shooting and 86 for dribbling.

The 27-year-old is a dangerous player on the right flank and defenders will find it extremely difficult to contain the Welshman.

Cristiano Ronaldo: 94 Overall

The highest rated player in FIFA 17 is none other than Cristiano Ronaldo with an overall of 94 (from 93 in FIFA 16).

The Portuguese player scored 35 goals in the previous season and was only behind Barcelona’s Luis Suarez for the most number of goals in 2015/16 season. Ronaldo has received 92 for pace, 91 for dribbling and 92 for shooting.
