#2: All-time top scorer for Brazil

Brazil v Honduras - International Friendly
The Brazilian is targeting Pele's all-time top scorer record for the Selecao.

Brazil is the most celebrated and decorated nation in the history of world football. The 'Black Pearl' Pele remains the all-time top scorer for the Selecao.

Although Brazil has produced extremely talented names like Zico, Ronaldo, Romario, Ronaldinho, and Rivaldo, none of these legends have succeeded in breaking Pele's 77-goal haul in 92 games for Brazil.

Luiz Ronaldo came the closest to this feat with 62 goals in 98 games.

But, Neymar is the only promising talent worthy in the current Brazilian team of surpassing Pele's feat.

The 25-year-old has already netted 52 goals and is only 25 short of the all-time top scorer record.

Unlike many others, Neymar performs equally well for Brazil as well as his club.

Considering his ability to score for the national team with equal intensity, we could see Neymar breaking this record before he calls time on his career.
