Former Manchester United midfielder Ravel Morrison threatened girlfriend with "acid attack"

Ravel Morrison threatened to have acid thrown in his ex-girlfriend’s face

Ravel Morrison, previously of Manchester United, and currently plying his trade at West Ham, threatened to “have acid thrown in his ex-girlfriend’s face and to have her killed”, as was told in court today.

The midfielder has also been accused of threatening to blow up her house as part of a harassment case that dates 4 years back, and was filed by his ex-girlfriend, Reah Mansoor.

His initial arrest last week was on two counts of common assault after allegedly punching and slapping Miss Mansoor, 19, and her mother Parveen Mansoor, 39. Additional charges of her fearing violence from him were filed, with the time for that extending from Jan 2010 to the 20^th of July 2014. The charge alleges that Morrison threatened to throw acid in her face, blow up her house and have her killed and other threats of violence.

His representatives indicated that he won’t be pleading guilty, and his bail conditions include him not meeting both of them, directly or indirectly, staying in Canary Wharf in London, with only restriced entry into the Greater Manchester Area (only to meet his lawyers or to visit for a West Ham game in the area, and to return to London immediately after the match).

The former Manchester United player is considered to very talented, but equally troubled, and was let go just because of the aforementioned attitude problems, and his penchant for getting into trouble.
