#4 Most expensive player over the age of 30
When Ronaldo decided to leave Real Madrid last summer, the whole world couldn't quite believe it.
Whilst Real Madrid tried to put on a brave face about the whole affair, it is clear they have missed him desperately this season.
Despite being 33 at the time of joining Juventus, everyone knew that the Portuguese legend would not come cheap.
Earlier in his career, Ronaldo famously broke the transfer record in 2009 when joining Real Madrid for £80 million from Manchester United. And at 33, he broke another record by joining the Italian giants for €112 million, thereby becoming the most expensive player in their 30s.
Why this record is so impressive is that at his age, most players consider retirement or have lost a huge chunk of their monetary worth.
Not Ronaldo though, and this record breaking figure of being the most expensive player over 30 is a testament to how good he still is.
