Goalkeeper:

Alex McCarthy is the most-owned FPL goalkeeper.

Alex McCarthy (SOU)- £4.5 m | Opponent: WBA(H): Southampton looked solid at the back against Burnley. They look to be in contention to keep a clean sheet against the Baggies and McCarthy can get some FPL points.

Defenders:

Alexander-Arnold got his first assist of the season against Arsenal.

Ruben Vinagre (WOL) - £4.4 m | Opponent: FUL(H): With uncertainty over whether Marcal will be fit in time, I'm going with Ruben Vinagre in my starting XI. The wing-back looked promising on the attacking front but didn't get too many FPL points after Wolves conceded four goals.

James Justin (LEI) - £4.5 m | Opponent: WHU(H): Leicester's full-backs have rewarded FPL managers handsomely. With not enough budget to get Castagne, I'm sticking with James Justin with hopes of a clean sheet and some attacking returns.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (LIV) - £7.5 m | Opponent: AVL(A): Alexander-Arnold had a great game against Arsenal and was back to his creative best. He registered an assist in that game, and his delivery will be key in breaking down Villa's defense and he should get some FPL points.

Kyle Walker-Peters (SOU) - £4.5 m | Opponent: WBA(H): Kyle Walker-Peters has done a good job both defensively and in attack. He could get a decent return for the FPL managers who have him in their team.

Midfielders:

Mahrez scored City's first goal against Leicester City.

Harvey Barnes (LEI) - £7.0 m | Opponent: WHU(H): Harvey Barnes has been in great form in the opening three FPL Gameweeks. He's ranked fifth among all players for goal threat, and against a West Ham side playing away from home, I feel that he can get a huge FPL haul.

Mohamed Salah (LIV) - £12.0 m | Opponent: AVL(A): Salah got an assist against Arsenal but was unlucky not to get more attacking returns. The fact that he's on penalties raises his FPL appeal more than that of Mane. A game against Aston Villa away from home does reduce his captaincy appeal.

Riyad Mahrez (MCI) - £8.5 m | Opponent: LEE(A): Riyad Mahrez should find plenty of space against the very-attacking Leeds side. With Pep Guardiola's men looking to bounce back after that Leicester defeat, Mahrez could pile up the FPL points this week.

Marcus Rashford (MUN) - £9.5 m | Opponent: TOT(H): Marcus Rashford got on the scoresheet against Brighton rewarding his FPL managers. While he isn't on penalties, his goal threat and creativity make him a great FPL option.

Forwards:

Timo Werner scored his first goal for Chelsea in midweek.
Timo Werner scored his first goal for Chelsea in midweek.

Timo Werner (CHE) - £9.5 m | Opponent: CRY(H): Werner scored his first goal for Chelsea during midweek and will be brimming with confidence. While Crystal Palace won't be that easy to break down, he will look to find the net and punish the FPL managers who sold him.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (EVE)- £7.0 m | Opponent: BHA(H): Calvert-Lewin has provided great FPL value since the start of the season. The Everton striker has five goals in three games and should add to that tally against Brighton.

Bench:

GK: Mathew Ryan (BHA) - £4.5 m | Opponent: EVE(A):

1st Sub: Steven Alzate (MID) (BHA)- £4.5 m | Opponent: EVE(A):

2nd Sub: Eric Dier (TOT) - £5.0m | Opponent: MUN(A):

3rd Sub: Keinan Davis (FWD) (AVL) - £4.5 | Opponent: SHU(H)
