Premier League bound?

What's the rumour?

The future of Gareth Bale has been subject to intense speculation in the last few weeks and now latest reports in Spanish daily Don Balon (via Sportslens) claim that the Welshman has made up his mind to leave Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

The same report also went on to claim that Bale would prefer a move to Manchester United over Liverpool. The 28-year-old superstar has had a stop-start 2017/18 season and he is reportedly looking for a return to the Premier League.

In case you didn't know...

Although the Welshman has struggled with fitness issues this season, Bale has contributed positively whenever he has been given the chance. Having scored 17 goals and contributed 4 assists so far, Bale still remains a top-class forward and will definitely add an extra dimension to Manchester United should he make the move.

The speedy winger made his name in the Premier League playing for Tottenham Hotspur. Initially starting off as a left-back, Bale was moved further forward up the pitch where he gradually evolved to become a world-class winger capable of winning matches single-handedly.

The heart of the matter

With Zidane dropping Bale from crucial matches this season, it looks like the Welshman might finally be on the move this transfer window. Although he has not been at his devastating best, the 28-year-old is still capable of producing moments of magic and he will certainly be a quality addition to any Premier League side's attack.

With the presence of Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford and Alexis Sanchez at Manchester United, it will be interesting to see if the Red Devils do indeed end up making a big move for the Real Madrid superstar.
