Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain has, reportedly, cut his face after slipping on some rocks on the island of Capri.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Higuain was taken to the Capilupi hospital after the incident and the forward was treated with eight stitches to his jaw area and two to his eyebrow.
Higuain was enjoying his time off on the island after his debut match against Bologna. Napoli secured a 3-0 win in the match with a brace from Marek Hamsik and goal from Jose Callejon to complete the score line.
Higuain moved to Napoli in July for a transfer fee of £34.5million despite generating huge interest from Arsenal.
