Chile stormed into the quarter-finals of the 2015 Copa America with a 5-0 win over Bolivia on Friday in Santiago. Although both teams were assured of a spot in the next round after Ecuador beat Mexico, Chile managed to clinch top spot in scintillating fashion on home turf.

Charles Aranguiz scored a brace while Alexis Sanchez scored with a fantastic diving header. Gary Medel also got on the scoresheet with a neatly taken shot after a superb run to beat the offside trap.

With Chile leading 4-0, things got worse for Bolivia as their own captain Ronald Raldes put the ball in the back of his own net when he came in the way of an Angelo Henriquez cross. It took a wicked deflection, looped over the goalkeeper and hit the post before going in.

The win gave Chile, who are still undefeated, seven points in Group A and they will be back in Santiago to take on one of the third-placed teams from Group B or Group C who will qualify for the quarter-finals.
