There’s no end to Fabio Borini’s woes at Liverpool. The 21-year-old striker now suffers from a dislocated shoulder after Liverpool’s EPL face off against former club, Swansea City, in a thrilling 5-0 victory.
The forward is therefore going to miss the rest of the season, as far as manager Brendan Rodgers is concerned.
“It looks like Fabio Borini has dislocated his shoulder, so that would put him out for the rest of the season,” manager Brendan Rodgers told BBC Sport.
The young Italian, who came from Rome with the hope of emerging victorious, and a whopping £11 million fee, has already lost three months with a broken foot. Considering his failure at registering his first goal in his 9 appearances for Liverpool, the striker will now have to wait till next season to do anything about it. Talk about being unlucky, eh?
The game, on the other hand, even with a spectacular win, faced a pool of gloom with an injured player at hand.
