The Mirror is reporting that Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has run out of patience with error-prone England keeper Joe Hart and is thought to be even considering dropping Englan’s no.1 after having a look at reserve keeper Costel Pantilimon‘s performance against Newcastle United at St. James’ Park on Wednesday night.

Hart’s latest blunder that gifted Chelsea victory in the dying moments of their Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Sunday is said to have been the last straw for Pellegrini who reportedly warned the Englishman of his place in the team after an equally poor showing against Bayern Munich four weeks ago.

Pellegrini has refused to publicly back Hart after this latest debacle.

Pantilimon was anyway expected to feature against Newcastle in the league cup, and Hart will have to wait and watch his deputy’s performance to learn what the immediate future holds for him.

Hart is said to have refused from taking the blame for Chelsea’s calamitous winner, insisting that he had given a shout out to defender Matija Nastasic.

His howler against Chelsea was his 9th major gaffer of the calendar year 2013.
