Jose Mourinho to sign players only after the World Cup

Jose Mourinho confirms that he will sign players after the World Cup

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has no intention of signing new players until the World Cup is over. And is relaxed until the players are available, with Chelsea desperately needing to buy a new striker, as the current strikers are in a poor run of form. And Mourinho earlier confirming that Chelsea are in the market in search of a new center forward, the likes of Mario Mandzukic, Diego Costa, Karim Benzema all are linked with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Jose Mourinho says, "Since the market will be open until 31st August, like it is, I think it will be more of the same. "I think people (will) wait for the World Cup, wait for the first reaction of the first team, wait until after something happens.

"At Chelsea, the manager is the same, the basic structure of the team is the same, we don't need the season to finish and the results of the season make the decisions about what we need and what we don't need.

"Everything was done during the season, we knew perfectly what we wanted and I don't think we have huge work to do during the summer really."

With Mourinho being so calm, insists that he is well in advance planning for next season, with John Terry signing a new deal at the club and will sign appropriate players in order to make Chelsea favourites for the domestic title and stand a chance in Europe.
