Cesc Fabregas

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho’s son Jose Mario has criticized the fans of the club for their behavior towards midfielder Cesc Fabregas, following the team’s 1-1draw against Southampton at home on Sunday. The 27-year-old Spaniard hasn't been able to replicate the same performance that he showed in 2014, this year, with just one assist in 10 games so far.

Mourinho Jr. took to his Instagram page to question the reaction of club fans to Fabregas’s performance.

"Why is everyone hating and blaming Fabregas for Sunday's performance... It was a team effort,” he wrote.

He further said that while the former Barcelona man might not have shown the same form that he showed last year, but he is still putting in the hard yards whenever he has got the chance to play. He also blasted the fans for booing Fabregas and called them the ‘ worst I’ve ever seen ’.

“Fabregas might have not played as well as most expected but at least he kept fighting... Showed a lot of character, I've seen bad Chelsea fans but Sunday was the worse I've ever seen, Fans booing Cesc not singing at all, I completely agree with the chant "Mourinho's right, you're fans are s---e" Our fans are a disgrace!!!!,” the youth team goalkeeper at Fulham added.

The Instagram account has been taken down since he made those comments.

Chelsea next face Hull City at KC Stadium on Sunday.
