Spanish midfielder Juan Mata comes off as a very serious character, but is loved and adored by Manchester United fans, as well as fans of his old club, Chelsea. The Spaniard has featured 9 times so far this season in Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United lineup and has scored 2 goals.

Juan Mata has been dubbed by The Telegraph as the nicest man in world football and there are many reasons to prove the case. Here is a video of Mata with a disabled child fan which is just heart warming.

Mata hasn’t hit the heights he did at Chelsea in a Manchester United jersey but has put in stellar performances in the past for the Red Devils and played well against Fenerbahce during the week.

The Spanish ex-winger is seemingly happier these days with the Red Devils. He took to Twitter to showcase a funny “highlight” from Manchester United’s game against Fenerbahce in the Europa league. The video, let’s just say, is quite the highlight reel material.

Here is his tweet

Mata tweeted this along with the hashtag #vegandiet. We’re not sure if he is serious about the diet or if it is an inside joke.

Some of the reactions to his tweet were also brilliant!

The Old Trafford faithful now have more reason to love the Spanish man and the fans and Mata’s teammates are surely going to have a good chuckle about this.

Manchester United play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge tomorrow. Both teams are coming off big wins in their last game.

United’s 4-1 victory against Fenerbahce will surely keep the confidence high in their camp, while Chelsea will look to build on their 3-0 demolition of Leicester City. Mata and company will look to be at their fiercest best to take on a resurgent Chelsea side.
