#4 Gianluigi Buffon

Over a year ago, Gianluigi Buffon said an emotional goodbye to the Bianconeri faithful, and on that day their opponents were Hellas Verona. Ironically, Buffon's second debut match for Juventus on his return was against Verona.

The legendary goalkeeper had a decent showing, as he expertly marshalled a Juve defence that has been shakey since the injury to club captain, Giorgio Chiellini. He made a couple of crucial saves to boot.

However, his most telling contribution was an 89th-minute save, denying Darko Larzovic a last-minute equaliser and guaranteeing the Turin giants a win after two consecutive draws.

#3 Juan Cuadrado

The Colombian international produced a very energetic display. He was deployed on the right of a three-man attack, and he was a constant thorn on the side of Gli Scaligeri. Cuardado expertly marshalled the right-wing, defended when it was required from him and made constant attacking forays in and around the Verona penalty area.

In the 48th minute, he was rewarded for his persistence as he dribbled past Koray Gunter, burst into the penalty area, and was brought down by the German for a penalty which Cristiano Ronaldo dispatched for the winner. He also made an impressive defensive contribution of four successful tackles.
