#3 Aaron Ramsey ends his long goal drought for Juventus

It is fair to say that Aaron Rsmsey's move to Juventus has not exactly gone to plan, as a combination of injuries and loss of form have reduced him to a bit-part role at the club.

Indeed, only a first-half injury sustained by McKennie afforded Ramsey a place on the field. Ramsey had several missed chances in the game. However, the former Arsenal man showed great anticipation to sneak in at the back post and put Juventus 2-1 up.

The goal was his first of the season and first since March last year - when he scored against Inter Milan in the final game before lockdown.

It was telling that the Wales international was still substituted despite coming off the bench and scoring a goal.

#2 Paulo Dybala and Weston McKennie sustain injuries

Paulo Dybala suffered a knee-ligament injury.

There were two injury concerns for Juventus in the first half of the game, with Weston McKennie and Paulo Dybala both having to be replaced.

The USA international pulled up with what appeared to be a muscle sprain and departed the field in the 19th minute, with Paulo Dybala following soon after with a knee sprain.

McKennie has proved his worth in the Juventus side this season and has become a key player under Pirlo, while Dybala has slowly started rediscovering his best form after an indifferent start to the campaign.

Although the severity of the injuries is not known, the two men are expected to return to action soon.

#1 Evergreen Cristiano Ronaldo scores a late goal to equal Josef Bican's record

Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 15th league goal of the season.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored his 15th league goal of the season.

Despite getting on the scoresheet very late on, it was a rather strange display from the usually proficient Cristiano Ronaldo.

The first half saw the Portugal international failing to make his trademark runs beyond the defence. He became more involved for Juventus in the second half, but despite getting into good positions, he was let down by poor finishing in the box.

After drawing a blank last week against AC Milan, Ronaldo scored a wonderful goal in the final moments of the game.

Incidentally, Cristiano Ronaldo's first Juventus goal had also come against the same opposition almost three years ago.

The goal was the 35-year-old's 19th of the campaign in all competitions and 15th in just 13 Serie A games this season. That was also his 759th career goal, equaling the late great Josef Bican for the most official goals in football history.

The former Real Madrid man has now scored at least 15 league goals in the last 15 seasons, the only player to do so. He is currently three clear in the race for the Capocannoniere this season.
