The 34-year-old is regarded as one of the best players in the world for a reason. The Portuguese megastar has quickly integrated into Juventus' system, despite joining the club only last summer. He has now become the backbone of the Italian club and have often single-handedly rescued them from tricky situations.

Ronaldo helped Juventus to stroll to yet another Serie A title this season. Lionel Messi might have eclipsed him in terms of overall performance in the present campaign, but the former Manchester United player has done a tremendous job in adapting to a new club and a new league at the same time.

He did everything he could in the Champions League by scoring all of Juventus' goals at the knockout stages. Unfortunately, several of his team-mates seemed to let him and the team down as The Old Lady crashed out in the quarter-finals.

Ronaldo would want to end the season as Serie A's top goalscorer. Although the star has scored an impressive 21 league goals, he stills falls short of topping the goalscoring chart as Atalanta's Duvan Zapata and Sampdoria's Fabio Quagliarella has found the back of the net one and four more times respectively.
