The UAE visit Dolen Omurzakov Stadium on Tuesday to face off with Kyrgyzstan in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers for their last game of the third round. However, the fate of both teams has already been decided.
With 14 points from nine games, the UAE have secured a place in the fourth round of the qualifiers along with Qatar and their outcome against Kyrgyzstan won't have any impact on that.
The Sons of Zayed failed to beat Uzbekistan, who are four points ahead of them in second place, in their previous qualifier on 5 June. That secured the White Wolves a historic first appearance at the World Cup showpiece, and sent the UAE into the next round.

Ranked 65th in the world, Cosmin Olăroiu's side needed a victory to keep their hopes of a direct qualification alive, but aren't totally out of the race either. Their first and only appearance in the competition was back in 1990, and the Middle Eastern outfit will look to make amends in the next round.
Meanwhile, Kyrgyzstan are officially out of the race after Qatar stunned Iran with a 1-0 victory, while the former could only manage a 2-2 draw with bottom-side North Korea.
Pak Kwang-hun and Ri Jo-guk struck apiece to put the Chollima 2-0 up, but their Central Asian rivals fought back, including an own goal from North Korea's Kim Sung-hye.
