Cristiano Ronaldo scored a sensational hat-trick against Atletico Madrid on Saturday night, as Real Madrid gained important 3 points in the La Liga title race. The Portuguese talisman was on fine form as he guided Los Blancos to their 9th win of the season as they settle up top with a 4 point lead.

Ronaldo’s first goal came from a free-kick, which was heavily deflected from the wall and went in around the 22nd minute. For the second, from the penalty spot, Ronaldo sent Oblak the wrong way, as he fired Real Madrid into a two-goal lead. His third was a tap in, after a fantastic run and assist from Welshman Gareth Bale.

The Portuguese was certainly enjoying the game as his confidence grew with every passing minute. After the second goal, he went on to crouch in front of the cameras and held his chin in an ‘hmm’ fashion. The internet meanwhile, exploded. Little did the star know that he would be an even bigger internet sensation by the end of 90 minutes.

However, it’s a completely different case when your own flesh and blood joins the trolling bandwagon. Ronaldo Jr and his friends were holding nothing back as they posed for Ronaldo’s Instagram account and the superstar uploaded the picture with the caption, ‘The boys make fun of me!’

The youngster is known for his tongue in cheek humour and the kid never hesitates to go the extra mile to make fun of his dad. No doubt however, the Portuguese captain is taking all this attention in the right manner.

Moreover, the magic of photoshop took over the internet as pictures of Ronaldo in the absurdest of settings took center stage. From sitting on toilets and a massive ship to taking part in an intense chess game and switching sports to take part in a sumo wrestling game.

Nevertheless, with 3 goals to his tally and Madrid in quite a good form, he shouldn’t really care. Just maybe its time the star went back to just doing the good old ‘turn and jump' celebration.
