Marcos Alonso close to Atletico Madrid move

Marcos Alonso is reportedly set to follow Eden Hazard to Spain. The Belgian superstar has already confirmed that he wants to join Real Madrid this summer and reports suggest that Chelsea and Real Madrid have agreed a deal.

Alonso is also set for a move to Madrid but to Real's derby-rivals, Atletico Madrid. The Spanish side have already sold Lucas Hernandez to Bayern Munich and are now set to release Filipe Luis.

Chelsea are reportedly open to selling Alonso as well but will give Maurizio Sarri the power to make the final decision. Reports suggest that Alonso is keen on leaving as Emerson has been starting ahead of him in recent games.

Moreover, the former Bolton full-back was critical of Sarri and complained that he was asked to change his game at the start of the season and then go back to his former playing style.
