Frenkie De Jong agrees deal with Barcelona
The future of Frenkie De Jong was a talking point for some time and if reports are to be believed, the saga seems to have finally come to an end. SPORT report that the Dutch midfielder has agreed a deal with Barcelona.
The young Ajax star was slapped with a £66 million (€75 million) price tag by the Eredivisie side to scare off interest. However, it only made things worse as several clubs showed more interest in him soon.
Paris Saint-Germain were reportedly the front-runners in November and reports earlier this month suggested that he had agreed to join the Ligue 1 side. But the Dutchman rebuffed all such speculations and said that he was yet to make a decision on his future.
His father wanted him to join Barcelona and it looks like he has followed that piece of advice and agreed to join the Catalan side in the summer.
