Barcelona to sell 3 first-team players

Barcelona have spent a lot of money in signing new players over the last 18 months and it looks like they are now set to sell a few players to balance the books. With Frenkie de Jong joining in the summer, Barcelona will have a lot of midfielders in the squad.

Reports suggest that Barcelona are now set to offload as many as three midfielders at the end of the season. Denis Suarez, Ivan Rakitic and Rafinha are said to be the 3 midfielders who will be leaving the club according to SPORT.

Denis Suarez and Rafinha were set to leave the club this month but with the recent injuries and the need for squad players, the Catalan side decided not to sell. The Brazilian is out for the season with an ACL injury while the former Manchester City starlet was close to joining Arsenal but the move was reportedly blocked at the last minute.

However, with the signing of Kevin-Prince Boateng, the chances of Denis Suarez moving to the Emirates have increased once again.
