The former Real Madrid man was born on the 23rd of October 1993 and is a product of the Fluminense Academy. The defensive midfielder joined Rio Ave in 2012 without making a single senior team appearance for his boyhood club.
The midfielder joined Real Madrid on loan the first year and then later spend 2 seasons on loan with AS Monaco before finally making his switch to the Ligue 1 side permanent in 2015 for a reported fee of €6 million.
The 24-year was an integral part of the side that won the Ligue 1 title from PSG and has made over 233 appearances and scored 31 times.
The defensive midfielder then finally made his switch to Liverpool this year for a reported fee of €45 million.
James Rodriguez

The 2014 World Cup Golden Boot winner was born on the 12th of July 1991 and started his footballing career with Columbian side Envigado.
The attacking midfielder made way into Europe in 2010 with FC Porto before joining AS Monaco in 2013 for the then second highest transfer fee for a Columbian, reported to be around €45 million.
James Rodriguez just spent a season with the French side with Spanish giants Real Madrid singing the James Bond of Banfield for a reported fee of around €75 million.
The Columbian who now plies his trade with Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich, on loan from Real Madrid, made 38 appearances and scored 10 times for the French side.
Joao Moutinho

A Sporting CP youth product, Moutinho was born on 8th of September 1986 and spent 10 years of footballing life with Sporting CP, including the youth days, before joining rivals, Porto.
Moutinho spent 3 seasons with Porto before moving to AS Monaco in 2013 for a reported fee of €22.5 million along with teammate James Rodriguez. Moutinho was impeccable in the 2016/17 season when AS Monaco won the title.
The midfield maestro spent 5 seasons with the Monaco based side making a total of 211 appearances and scored 11 times before joining Wolverhampton Wanderers this year for a reported fee of around €8 million.
