According to various sources, Polish striker Robert Lewandowski might leave Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window. He was linked with a move to Old Trafford, but with Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson ruling out new signings in January, Lewandowski’s next move is said to be to cross-town rivals Manchester City.

It seems that Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko was offered to Dortmund, but they have rejected the offer as the deal may look too expensive. There are also talks of a possible swap between Dzeko and Lewandowski, but the German club have rubbished those claims.

Meanwhile, Dortmund are reportedly trying to sign a right-back and centre-forward in the transfer window.

Dortmund’s signing speculations have questioned Lukasz Piszczek’s place in the side, but it looks like they simply want to add more depth to their squad.
