Hello and welcome to Liverpool transfer roundup for the day. Liverpool's injury woes are becoming worse every single day. Trent Alexander-Arnold who recovered from an ankle injury has now damaged his knee which will keep him out for at least one month. He gets added to Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez who are already spending their time on the sidelines.

Even though the Reds have versatile players all around the squad, there is always room for improvement and Jurgen Klopp might want to look into the transfer market for further reinforcement. It will be interesting to see if the German spends much in this window after splashing more than 150 million in the summer window.

Liverpool are eyeing a deal for the Dutch International Arnaut Danjuma. The 21-year-old currently plies his trade with the Belgian outfit Club Brugge.

With the ability to play through either of the flanks, Jurgen Klopp could have the luxury to rest one of Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah when required. Coupled with pace, he has nimble feet which is the most required aspect the Reds are missing currently.

According to Daily Mail, it is understood that the Reds are amongst of the quarter clubs chasing the young forward who has turned the heads of several scouts. Apart from Liverpool, AC Milan, Tottenham and Everton are the other sides interested in him. The Italian heavyweights already had a €9 million bid turned down. Any price around €15 million should be able to seal him.

Fabinho rubbishes PSG interest

There were several reports quoting that the reigning Ligue 1 Champions Paris Saint-Germain are willing to take Fabinho on loan until the end of the season when the Brazilian was slowly settling into Jurgen Klopp's plan.

But, the Brazilian who spoke to L'Equipe has rubbished those reports "I never thought of going anywhere else. I know a lot of stuff has been written in the newspapers but not all of that is true. What's funny is that rumour came out just before our game against PSG in the Champions League. I experienced this when at Monaco, before playing the final of the League Cup against PSG in 2018. It's quite a coincidence, isn't?

Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp have to solve with another headache as Trent Alexander-Arnold has been ruled out for at least a month following a knee injury which he sustained when he was in action against Brighton and Hove Albion.

The young right-back is the next in the line to Dejan Lovren and Joe Gomez who are not expected until February. However, it understood that the loan deal of Clyne's cannot be cut short which is inserted in the contract, according to Mirror.

Jurgen Klopp is ready to deputize James Milner through the right defensive flank and the youngster Camacho is also in the list.
