In Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firminio and Sadio Mane, Liverpool have one of the best front-three across the globe. The trio have excelled for the past two seasons, and their performances in the 2018-19 campaign helped the club to win the UEFA Champions League and also finish second in the Premier League.

However, when any one or two of these players were not available during certain parts of the season, the likes of Divock Origi, Daniel Sturridge and Xherdan Shaqiri stepped up to take the responsibility in front of goal.

Next season, Liverpool will require an additional player to share the burden and also to improve the quality of the bench. Liverpool have stuck with the trio for two seasons now and could look for a new attacker, who can offer something unique to the squad and also add a cutting edge up front.

Liverpool have been linked with a move to sign Nicolas Pepe, who has had a wonderful season with Ligue 1 side Lille. The forward netted 22 goals and contributed 11 assists in the league. The Ivory Coast international has great pace and is an excellent dribbler, who does not shy away from going one-on-one with the opposition defenders.

He would make Liverpool's attack even more dangerous and goals would never be short at Anfield if the 24-year-old moves to the club this summer.
