Top 3 Premier League players who need to be loaned out

Tiago Ilori
With the January Transfer now about a week and half old, we here at Soccersouls are trying to add more spice in this otherwise boring set of activities so far. With Chelsea reaching the summit of the Premier League after Saturday night and Manchester United two goals to the good against Swansea and, we bring you three players who need to go out on loan from the Premier League in search of more game time and getting over the barrier of limited time on the pitch.

As the history suggests, now established players like Daniel Sturridge, Danny Welbeck amongst others has greatly benefited from the loan and playing without pressure. Well this is not an exhaustive list as we have just cut the number to three, this column certainly will analyze how a temporary move and will benefit both the player and the club.

3. Tiago Ilori:

Brendan Rodgers had certainly brought the young Portuguese defender from Sporting Lisbon in the summer to add more depth to the squad. Ilori is certainly earmarked for the future and will not certainly start in the playing eleven as far as this season is concerned. He is yet to make his debut for the Reds from Merseyside and has been named in the bench a handful number of times this campaign. The Portuguese will certainly benefit going to a different club on loan for more game time and with that get a chance to enhance his reputation as one of the top emerging talents in world football. Whether or not a deal materializes remains to be seen, but Rodgers can ill afford to put him on the sidelines week in and week out.

2. Kevin De Bruyne

Everyone knows Chelsea have a plethora of midfielders and having the best of talents on the sidelines does no good for the player nor the club. This is exactly why Kevin De Buyne might just be echoing my thoughts. Major websites report German club Wolfsburg are close to sign the Belgian for a whooping 18m. But a loan move would be better considering the high potential of the player. Mourinho’s system perhaps doesn’t need De Bruyne now, and he will be looking for more game time ahead of next year’s showcase World Cup in Brazil. So, a temporary move away from the London club would beneficial for both the club and the player.

1. Wilfried Zaha

The former Crystal Palace has hardly featured for the Red Devils since his move in the summer. With critics mentioning it was more of a Alex Ferguson’s shopping rather but David Moyes’ burden. Zaha might make a critical difference playing on the wings for United but needs to go on loan to a Premier League side and enhance his reputation of a silky winger who can change any game by the scruff of the neck.
