1. Lucas Piazon was born on the 20th of January 1994 in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

2. Piazon began his career with Coritiba before moving to Brazilian powerhouse Sao Paolo in 2008.

3. The youngster became the top scorer in every youth tournament while at Coritiba.

4. Lucas signed a pre-contract with Chelsea in 2011 worth around £5 million but could not play for the senior team before his 18th birthday.

5. The teenager scored his first goal for Chelsea against the Arsenal reserves which the Blues eventually won.

6. Won the FA Youth Cup with Chelsea on the 9th of May 2012 and received the Chelsea Young Player of the Year award a day later.

7. Piazon was included in Chelsea’s 2012-2013 pre-season tour and managed to score a goal in the 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain.

8. The midfielder has been a part of Brazil’s youth squad and scored a spectacular goal for the Brazil U17 squad against the Uruguay U17 squad, in which his goal was scored with such force that it broke though the  side nettings of the goal.

9. Piazon has been compared to fellow countryman and AC Milan midfielder Kaka due to their similar techniques on the ball.

10. Lucas is one of the four Chelsea youngsters who have gone on loan to Dutch club Vitesse, scoring a brace for his temporary temporary team on his debut and has so far found the back if the net 11 times in 18 appearances.
