Madrid - Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini has one main injury worry ahead of his side’s historic Champions League football game in the La Rosaleda Stadium against Italian giants AC Milan on Wednesday night.
Malaga have already made history by winning the first two of their Champions League group matches, at home to Zenit St Petersburg and away to Anderlecht, but there is no doubt that the match at home to AC Milan is the game that all of the home fans want to see, reports Xinhua.
Not only will the visit of the former European Champions be a night to remember, but a home win against a team that is struggling to find its form would give Malaga nine points from three matches and make them odds on to reach the knockout stages.
Malaga have been in fine form all season with only the concession of a last minute goal in the Vicente Calderon against Atletico Madrid a fortnight ago denying them an unbeaten start to the campaign.

The main injury worry for Malaga is full back Nacho Monreal, who is struggling to recover from a back problem he picked up on international duty with Spain. Should Monreal not recover in time, Portuguese winger Eliseu Pereira will continue in that role, but should Monreal recover that would allow Eliseu to play in his preferred role on the wing, where he has been in excellent form of late.
