Pastore seeking his PSG exit

Manchester United have been put on alert by PSG star Javier Pastore after the Argentine playmaker has expressed his desires to quit Ligue 1 due to lack of playing time, reports Daily Mirror.

Earlier in the week, Manchester United legend Eric Cantona referred Pastore as the ideal player to wear the vacant number 7 jersey for The Red Devils.

Pastore is currently behind the likes of Angel Di Maria, Lucas Moura, Julian Draxler, Kylian Mbappe, and Adrien Rabiot in PSG's pecking order and is frustrated by the lack of playing time under the manager Unai Emery.

Following Henrikh Mkhitaryan's loss of form, Man United's midfield is still seeking another playmaker to compliment the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Marcus Rashford, and Anthony Martial going forward.

Daily Mirror reckons United are ready to make their offer for Pastore and could even look to sign him the January transfer window as the player is keen to join a new club to keep his World Cup 2018 dreams alive.

Shaw has failed to impress Jose Mourinho

Manchester United have made their stance on Luke Shaw very clear and will not sell him in January transfer window. However, the defender could be set for a loan spell away from the club as Newcastle United appear to be his likely destination, reports Daily Express.

Manager Jose Mourinho is yet to be convinced by Shaw's ability to play week in week out and has asked the club to find him a new left-back during the January transfer window.

Shaw is expected to sign a contract extension with the club but the player could be asked to leave Old Trafford on loan with Rafa Benitez keen on signing the Englan international.

Giminez is one of the best young defenders in Europe

Manchester United's pursuit of defender Jose Giminez has taken a positive turn in last 24 hours after Atletico Madrid have agreed to sell the 22-year-old defender in January.

Stephan Savic has been impressive this season and has put Giminez out of the starting lineup forcing the Uruguayan defender to consider his future at the club.

At the age of 22, Giminez has already represented his country at a World Cup and two Copa America competitions. Thus, Jose Mourinho is convinced that Giminez is the right person to partner Eric Bailly and Phil Jones at the heart of United's defence.
