Wilson scored for the Cherries
Bournemouth have been the surprise package this campaign. This time last season, they were fighting for relegation, but now they are in the top half in the league. Eddie Howe has been widely praised for his side's free-flowing football and never-give-up attitude.

Not many teams have managed to take the game to Manchester City at the Etihad, but the Cherries gave a good account of themselves in the first half, scoring through Callum Wilson. However, it was a different ball game altogether in the second half; City went into top gear and completely disrupted the shape of Bournemouth's defense.
This is Howe's fourth consecutive defeat in the league, which has taken the shine off a rather impressive start to the campaign. However, the manager should be proud with the way his team played against City. Even at 3-1 down, the Cherries put bodies forward in the hope of a comeback, although nothing resulted out of it.

Since childhood I was encouraged to play cricket and in no time it became a hobby. Gradually I found interest in other sports also.
Football is in my blood and I love the electrifying ambiance that surrounds it. I often watch the pre and post match analysis of a match and try to learn how to analyze a football game.
The thing that intrigues me the most is that there are so many things happening behind the scenes that are oblivious to our naked eyes. The technological advancements that has been made are phenomenal.
I like analyzing a game from a statistical point of view. Being a data guy myself , I am firm believer of providing insights through facts and data. Though a game is always unpredictable , analyzing it from different dimensions can provide some very interesting conclusions.
