#3 Lesser Competition

Manchester City's path to the historic feat is clear now. Despite the fact that there is no room for error, their road towards the trophies looks a bit easier. Pep Guardiola's men will face Brighton in the FA Cup and Tottenham in the Champions League to reach the next rounds amidst Premier League fixtures.

In the FA Cup, the top six teams are already out. Brighton are 15th in the Premier League, just five points above from the relegation zone. Unless an upset takes place, City will face Watford or Wolves in the Cup final.

Meanwhile, City will face known rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the quarterfinals of the Champions League before facing Juventus or Ajax in the semifinals. European heavyweights like Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Bayern Munich, and PSG are all out of the competition and that makes the Champions League more open than the last few years. Should they progress, City will face one among Barcelona, United, Liverpool or Porto in the Final.

The only big obstacle in City's path is the three fixtures against Tottenham in the span of eleven days before they face Manchester United in the Premier League. The hefty Premier League fixtures will obviously be tricky and test the mantle of Pep Guardiola's men in these stages of the campaign.
