Free-flowing football was Manchester City's domain today. They were fluid, melting through Brighton's defence like a knife through butter. Brighton may not be a top-six club, but the Cityzens showed what they are very capable of doing, irrespective of their opponents.

Manchester City played a possessive game that was high-tempo and efficient in finding opportunities within the final third. Their midfielders were constantly marauding through the middle, their strikers seemed to always find open space, and their defence was ever ready to send the ball into Brighton's half at every opportune moment.

Brighton's defence did try to hold on firm, but they could barely keep up with so many players in such prime positions to play around in the box and put another one in the net. If the Cityzens continue playing like this, especially against strong five-man defences like Brighton's, there really isn't anything stopping them from winning the Premier League title for the third time straight.
