Perhaps the most improved and best player at City this season, as many City fans would agree, Bernardo Silva has been everpresent in the City side this season. His hard work and persistence have earned him praises from the manager and other players from the club.
Bernardo has taken the opportunity of De Bruyne's injury and turned it into gold. He is now the first name on Guardiola's team sheet and that in itself is a big compliment.
Signed from Monaco last season, Bernardo was deemed as a natural replacement of David Silva. But the Portuguese has found himself not only the midfield but also on the wings.
His role has been immense in City's success this season and he would hope to add more in the final few months of the season. Bernardo’s performances have seen his transfer market value go up to 72 million Euros. His contract at the club runs till 2025.
