The heart of the matter

In an interview, the Brazilian explained the key differences between the two managers and drew a comparison between La Liga and the English Premier League.

"Of course, they are different," Danilo said of Zidane and Guardiola to The Daily Mirror as quoted by Marca.
"They are top coaches and it's impossible to compare them. I'm very happy to have worked with both of them. Pep's attention to detail is unparalleled and what Zidane achieved is incredible, so it's difficult for me to say who's better.". he added.
When asked about the key difference in the Premier League and La liga, Danilo said, "The English game is more physical and, if I can say, it's more tactical. By that I mean that the teams try to win the games, so it's different from Spain."
"I say it with respect, because for me they are the two best leagues in the world.", the Brazilian right back concluded.

What's next?

Guardiola's City will face Schalke in the first leg of their last-16 fixture before turning their focus towards the Carabao Cup final where they will face Chelsea.

Meanwhile, Zidane is on a sabbatical but he is being linked with Premier League clubs. His former club Real Madrid will face Levante in the Liga before facing Barcelona twice.
