Samuel Umtiti has a low release clause in his current contract. His clause of 60 million Euros is quite low for a player of his quality and has attracted interest from many clubs. According to reports, Pep Guardiola has made Umtiti his no.1 target.

According to Football Espana, Barcelona are trying to offer a new contract to the Frenchman so as to increase his release clause. The report says that Umtiti is committed to the Spanish Club but Barcelona are in no mood to risk losing their prized asset which can leave them in a difficult position.

Alexis Sanchez has been constantly linked to a move to Manchester City for a long time now. There have been rumours that City might make a move for the Chilean winger in the winter transfer window.
