Umtiti offered a new deal at Barcelona
Samuel Umtiti has a low release clause in his current contract. His clause of 60 million Euros is quite low for a player of his quality and has attracted interest from many clubs. According to reports, Pep Guardiola has made Umtiti his no.1 target.
According to Football Espana, Barcelona are trying to offer a new contract to the Frenchman so as to increase his release clause. The report says that Umtiti is committed to the Spanish Club but Barcelona are in no mood to risk losing their prized asset which can leave them in a difficult position.
City willing to wait for Sanchez until summer
Alexis Sanchez has been constantly linked to a move to Manchester City for a long time now. There have been rumours that City might make a move for the Chilean winger in the winter transfer window.
BBC have reported that the Premier League leaders are willing to wait for the summer window to get their man on a free transfer. Manchester City are in great form this season and Guardiola thinks that making a signing in January can break the harmony of the squad.
Zaha not moving in January
Crystal Palace were stuck at the bottom of the table for the most part of the season, but they have done brilliantly over the last few weeks as they have climbed out of the relegation zone. Wilfred Zaha has been key to Crystal Palace's revival this season.

West Brom have been struggling for goals for a long time now. Since the appointment of Alan Pardew, the Baggies have only managed to score 3 goals in the Premier League. West Brom need to sign a striker in January to sort out their issues in front of the goal.
