Paris Saint-Germain Player Ratings against Manchester United

Marquinhos put PSG in the lead against Manchester United in the second half
Marquinhos put PSG in the lead against Manchester United in the second half

Keylor Navas - 6/10

Keylor Navas was unfortunate to have been beaten by a deflected Rashford strike but was very lucky to not be beaten by Cavani's chip that came back off the crossbar.

Alessandro Florenzi - 6/10

Alessandro Florenzi had a good game on the right flank. He bombed up and down the flank and didn't really let Martial or Telles dominate on that side of the pitch.

Marquinhos - 7/10

Skipper Marquinhos came up with another priceless goal for PSG, with a terrific instinctive finish after controlling a ball that came to him at pace.

Presnel Kimpembe - 6/10

Presnel Kimpembe had some trouble dealing with Cavani's movement, and his clever touches.

Abdou Diallo - 5/10

Diallo was visibly not comfortable playing at left-back, as Rashford kept getting in behind easily. After Bakker came on, Diallo looked a lot more comfortable in a centre-back role.

Danilo Pereira - 6/10

Unfortunately for him, Danilo Pereira deflected Rashford's strike into the net. Otherwise, he had a strong game against Manchester United as he cleaned up the loose balls in midfield and kept a close watch on Fernandes.

Leandro Paredes - 6/10

Leandro Paredes was the protagonist for PSG in the first half as he could have got Fred sent off twice - first for a headbutt and then for a stamp.

Marco Verratti - 6/10

This was a typical Verratti performance, full of energy and drive from midfield. Sometimes, his quality deserted him though.

Neymar - 8/10

Neymar had a patchy game against Manchester United but made decisive contributions as PSG stayed alive in the competition and even became favourites to win the group.

Tuchel would love for his talisman to not drift in and out of games as he did against Manchester United though.

Kylian Mbappe - 6/10

Kylian Mbappe didn't have a great game against Manchester United, especially with his decision-making in the final third. That was summed up by the counter-attack at the end of the game, when he could have squared the ball to Neymar but took the shot and missed.

Moise Kean - 5/10

Moise Kean was hardly involved in anything that PSG put together as an attacking unit.

Substitutes

Ander Herrera - 7/10

Ander Herrera came on and added bite to the PSG midfield. He was the recipient of the challenge that got Fred sent off for.

Mitchel Bakker - 7/10

Mitchel Bakker had a positive impact after coming on for Kean. He was deployed as a left wing-back. He also had a shot superbly saved by Manchester United goalkeeper De Gea to lead to the corner from which Marquinhos scored.

Rafinha Alcantara - 7/10

Rafinha Alcantara set up Neymar's second goal against Manchester United with a nice cut-back from the byline.

Thilo Kehrer - 6/10

Thilo Kehrer had to be alert at the end to make a couple of important defensive contributions.

Idrissa Gueye - N/A

He came on to replace Diallo late in the game.
