Danny Welbeck’s injury a month back is haunting The Gunners as most of the scoring burden has been transferred to only two players in Lacazette and Aubameyang, and Iwobi looks like he will take ages to score again. He is not confident enough in the final third, and too many times he loses the ball in important areas.

The Gunners need to bring in some bodies during the January transfer market to sustain a challenge for the top four positions in the league. Also, Ozil’s future with Emery as coach is in doubt, with Unai not giving the creative midfielder much importance.

Arsenal needs at least a defender, a striker, and a creative midfielder as Ramsey will also leave next summer, and there are some holes to be plugged.

Even in yesterday’s match, injuries caused Unai to make some changes in the first half, and so was not left with any creative or tactical choices to be made in the second half.
