Rafinha reveals he rejected advances from Premier League clubs

Bayern Munich fullback, Rafinha has revealed to Sport Bild that he rejected offers from England and Spain to stay put with the German champions. The 32-year-old was linked with a deadline day move to Chelsea but Bayern Munich reportedly rejected a bid straightway. Arsenal were also said to be interested in the former Genoa man. When asked about the interest in him, Rafinha said, "Bayern bosses know I already had offers from England and Spain before the season started. I have Bayern in my heart and I always give 100 percent, they can always count on me."

Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur monitoring David Philipp

Premier League sides are ready to battle it out for one of Germany's most promising players in David Philipp. The 17-year-old Werder Bremen starlet is a highly rated player in Germany and has started to garner attention due to his exploits for the U-17 side. Philipp scored 18 and assisted 21 for Bremen's U-17 side last season. Philipp will be out of contract next summer but the Bundesliga side are confident of making him sign a new deal.
