Wait...WHAT!

What’s the story?

Manchester United are in their best form since the Sir Alex Ferguson era ended. The Red Devils are scoring goals at will and winning matches with ease but still, they are not on top of the table as derby-rivals, Manchester City are outshining them.

Jose Mourinho wants to put an end to this and make them stronger than the rivals. The manager wants to add an attacking midfielder, who can also drift to the wings when needed as Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Juan Mata are unable to do what he needs from them.

The only player who fits this bill perfectly is Eden Hazard. Mourinho also knows about this and has ordered Ed Woodward to get the Belgian to Old Trafford. As per reports in The Sun, Manchester United are ready to start off with an initial £90 million bid.

In case you didn’t know…

Mourinho is a big fan of Eden Hazard. The manager was influential in making him the player he is today. The duo worked together at Chelsea and the Belgian had only good things to say about his former manager.

The heart of the matter

Eden Hazard's future at Chelsea is not in doubts but with Real Madrid and Manchester United chasing, it's bound to get some fans thinking. Adding to the woes of the fans, the Belgian is yet to sign a new contract at the club and has his deal expiring in June 2020.

3 reasons why this 'rumour' doesn't need to be taken seriously:

1) It's by The Sun.

2) Chelsea will never sell Hazard to Manchester United, no matter what. The Matic saga is a totally different thing and cannot be compared.

3) Eden Hazard is a loyal player. If he is to leave Chelsea, it will be for Real Madrid or to Lille, the club he said he wants to play for once again before retiring.
