The Romelu Lukaku saga is officially over. After weeks of speculations, the Belgian has finally secured his dream move to Inter Milan on Transfer Deadline Day. The last day of the transfer window in England started with the Telegraph confirming that Lukaku was headed to Milan for his medical ahead of a deal worth £73.9m.
Last evening, Lukaku's agent Federico Pastorello posted an image of him and the Belgian apparently on a flight with the caption, "Ready to take off... direction Milan".
The Italian had been working hard to secure the deal and his hard work seems to have finally paid off.
United had always maintained that they were willing to let the Belgian leave if their valuation was met. After two failed bids, the Serie A giants were finally able to convince the Red Devils to part with their striker. Sky Sports have confirmed that Lukaku has officially signed for Inter Milan, with the club announcing his arrival via Twitter.
