Brazilian defender Marcos Aoas Correa’s agent has confirmed that Manchester United have made a bid for the player.
The 19-year-old Roma center back, commonly knows as Marquinhos, has made 26 appearances for the Serie A outfit after joining them last year from Corinthians. He is also a part of Brazil’s U23 squad.
The player’s agent Roberto Calenda said: “The player is back from vacation and joined to work with the idea to help his team in the best way possible.
“However, the club has informed us of the possibility of selling to Marquinhos and we have to respect the decisions they make.
“There are offers from PSG, Manchester United and Barcelona and Rome could accept one of them.”
However with Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain also very much in the race and the player being valued at €25-30 million, Manchester United will face serious competition in signing the player.
