Manchester United Loanee Watch

Joshua King
He had another excellent game for Hull City against Sunderland, completing his first 90 minutes for the club since joining them back in January. King was lively throughout, linking up with fellow Manchester United loanee Robbie Brady. He was close to supplying Brady with a great first time cross, but the awful pitch put him off.
He had several shots saved and came close to scoring for Hull City, but they were smacked against the post. King would have several more chances in the second half, but all were saved by Southampton keeper and almost scored an awesome volley with five minutes left in the match.
Robbie Brady
Had an absolute sitter played to him by King in the first half, but he knock it over the crossbar. I think if the pitch wasn’t awful and didn’t have divots all over the box and where the ball was played, he might’ve scored it.

Brady was dangerous playing in several crosses into the box, but the Southampton defense stood strong and handled all the pressure Hull City gave them. Robbie is coming off a thigh injury, which was the reason he was withdrawn in the 70th minute.

Hull City lost 2-0 to Southampton and are currently in 9th in Championship- 1 point off a playoff position.

Tomasz Kuszczak
He achieved another clean sheet, making it two in a row for him and Championship side Watford. Kuszczak is showing the qualities and the ability he has. His playing time at United has been limited ever since he said he was a “slave because the club wouldn’t sell him.”

Kuszczak, showing with a consistent run of games that he can be a top keeper. He made several good saves including one from 25 yards out by Yannick Bolasie with three minutes remaining. It was a belter of a shot and Kuszczak was at full stretch to make a finger tip save. Watford won their match 2-0.

Reece Brown
In his last outing for Oldham Athletic, he was operating in midfield as a central defensive midfielder, but today he was back at his regular position at center back. He had Hartlepool’s new striker, on-loan from Sunderland, Ryan Noble in his back pocket.

Noble had one chance in the second half in the 83rd minute, but squandered his opportunity. Oldham would hold on to win 1-0, which is their first win since Brown first started for them on March 3rd and also kept their first clean sheet in over a month.

Scott Wootton
Taken from Nottingham’s official site
He only had a run of five minutes for Nottingham Forest, but it was a historic victory for them over Leeds United, winning 7-3 at Elland Road with Gareth McCleary scoring four goals for Forest.
