Manchester United have revealed their squad for their upcoming UEFA Europa League clash against Astana. A number of inexperienced campaigners have been included in United's travelling side.

United's Premier League woes

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his men had to endure a tough night on Sunday in the Premier League as they conceded three times and produced a disappointing draw against Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.

Whenever United lined-up with three centre-backs this season, they looked confused and out of shape while defending.

Although United made an enthralling comeback against one of the best defensive sides in England's top-flight football competition away from home, the travellers endured absolute domination both tactically and physically for the first 70 minutes of the match.

The Red Devils' Europa League squad

Looking at the approaching domestic fixtures, Solskjaer has gone for a very young squad and has rested a number of first-teamers for the first time in a while. Apart from Lee Grant, Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe, Jesse Lingard and Mason Greenwood, there are very few familiar faces in that visiting squad.

United's confirmed squad members are as follows:

Lee Grant, Matej Kovar, Max Taylor, Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe, Dylan Levitt, Teden Mengi, DiShon Bernard, Largie Ramazani, Ethan Laird, Ethan Galbraith, Arnau Puigmal, D'Mani Bughail-Mellor, James Garner, Jesse Lingard, Tahith Chong, Angel Gomes, Mason Greenwood.

In order to continue their preparation for the upcoming vital Premier League matches, the experienced ones have stayed back in Carrington, with the likes of Michael Carrick and Kieran McKenna. Before facing Aston Villa at Old Trafford next Sunday, Ole's young guns will face Astana on Thursday (kick-off at 9:20 PM IST).
