Quinton Fortune could be back at United in a managerial role
The Telegraph reports that Manchester United are very close to announcing their new Under-23 manager. The post has been vacant since Ricky Sbragia left the role in May of this year. Now, it seems that United have decided to appoint Neil Wood as the Head Coach, while Quinton Fortune will be his assistant.

The Red Devils are continuing with their new strategy of putting former players in key positions at the club. Wood graduated from the United academy, however, he did not make a single appearance as a senior player. Fortune, on the other hand, made 126 appearances for the club between 1999 and 2005.
Formal announcements are expected later this week, as United look to make quite a few changes in the academy structure. Wood has been a part of the United set-up since rejoining the club as an academy coach in 2014. Fortune, on the other hand, does have the experience of working as an assistant manager for the Cardiff City Under-21 team and was recently seen as an MUTV Pundit.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life.
