Daniel James says he is ready for the rough treatment in the Premier League
When United signed Daniel James from Swansea, the main concern was that the youngster was lacking the Premier League experience. It was believed that the rigours of the Premier League might literally be a step higher that what the Welshman has experienced in the Championship. The biggest worry was about the physical aspects of the league, but the man himself sounds pretty confident about roughing it up in the league.

The Welshman has revealed that any team planning to rough him up will be wasting their time, as he is used to the rough treatment dished out to wingers.
If you watch any of my games from last season I think it’s going to happen to me every game.
I got some rough treatment [against Spurs] but it’s literally every game. I’m used to it. It’s just about getting back up and getting on with it.

No, it doesn’t bother me, not at all. It’s always going to be part of my game. Being a winger I’m always going to get fouled but it’s just about how you get on with it. I don’t let it get in my head and just keep going.
Part of my game is about winning those fouls and getting in good positions.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
