The Express reports that manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has put forward two main demands to Manchester United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward this summer in a bid to return his beloved club back to their former glory. The Norwegian experienced a dismal end to the 2018-19 season, which raised a lot of questions about the squad at his disposal. It is clear that there is need of a huge rebuilding at Old Trafford and now, Solskjaer's two requirements for the revamp has been revealed.

The Norwegian's first demand is massive investment in the summer. United are already linked with a host of players right now, and Solskjaer actually wants to make around five new additions to his squad. A centre-back is a priority, while the Norwegian also requires a right-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Thomas Meunier his preferred choices. He also wants two new midfielders, having lost Ander Herrera this summer. There are also talks of an attacking addition, with a right-winger still missing at United.

Solskjaer's second demand is that United keep hold of Paul Pogba, who has been linked with a move away from the club. With both Real Madrid and Juventus interested in the Frenchman, Solskjaer wants United to keep hold of Pogba at all costs.

Will Woodward comply? Only time will tell.
