The transfer saga surrounding Arturo Vidal’s move to Manchester United from Juventus has taken a new turn as the player tweets a photo of him while insisting that the team is ready for the upcoming new Serie A season.

Most recently, in a report by Gazzetta dello Sport, it was suggested that Manchester United’s €43m bid for Arturo Vidal was rejected by Juventus. The Italian newspaper confirms that Juventus and Manchester United have spoken about Vidal in the midst of discussions over the sale of Mexican striker Javier Hernandez.

Juventus play Chievo on Saturday in their opening Serie A match and it will be interesting to see if the Chilean plays in it or not.
