Germany and Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has been officially declared as the highest rated goalkeeper in FIFA 15. Neuer has been given a rating of 90 in the game. The second best rating for a stopper in the game is 86 for Chelsea’s Thibaut Courtois. This clearly shows that he has been rated well ahead of his rivals as he has been awarded for some outstanding performances over the years. After winning the Bundesliga title with Bayern over the last few years, Neuer also won the Champions League, the club World Cup and finally the FIFA World Cup in the last 18 months.
It must be noted that last year in FIFA 14, the highest rated goalkeeper had a rating of only 86 and that top spot was shared by three players. Neuer joins an elite group of superstars who are rated 90 and above in the game. The others are his team mate Arjen Robben, PSG’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo and the game’s highest rated player Lionel Messi.
